Job Summary:
Premium Ambassadors help deliver a seamless, elevated experience for premium clients and their guests on the Suite and Loft Levels. This customer-facing role prepares premium spaces before events, welcomes and assists guests, responds to questions and requests, and resolves day-of-event concerns. Premium Ambassadors serve as an extension of the Premium Sales & Service team and must demonstrate professionalism, sound judgment, and a service-first approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare Suites, Lofts, and surrounding areas for guests before doors open. Welcome guests to the Premium Levels, verify tickets, provide directions, and communicate relevant information based on ticket type. Monitor an assigned section of Suites and Lofts and provide attentive, courteous service throughout the event. Respond promptly and professionally to guest questions, requests, and concerns. Communicate Suite and Loft guidelines, procedures, event information, and food and beverage ordering options. Build positive relationships with Suite and Loft owners and their frequent guests. Maintain familiarity with Golden 1 Center amenities, policies, procedures, and wayfinding information. Monitor activity within the assigned area and appropriately address or report guest conduct and safety concerns. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Experience and Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred. Friendly, professional, and service-oriented demeanor. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact professionally with executives, VIPs, and premium guests. Ability to remain composed, exercise sound judgment, and resolve concerns in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and move throughout the venue for extended periods. Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 20 pounds.
Required Availability:
This is a part-time, event-based position requiring availability for Sacramento Kings home games and Golden 1 Center events. Shifts range from four to 10 hours and are typically scheduled during evenings and weekends, often between 5:00 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. Must be available to work occasional holidays based on the Kings and Golden 1 Center event schedules.
