Description of Position:
Reservationists are responsible for handling all incoming calls to the restaurant in an effective and efficient manner that aligns with the company's experience. As a reservationist, it is your job to offer as much information, or direct-service to the caller as possible during each interaction.
Duties:
Responsible for making, canceling, and modifying guest reservations. Confirm all reservations accurately and in a timely manner. Answer the phone in a professional and courteous manner. Assist guests by answering and fielding questions related to the reservation process and general FAQs about Craig's. Provide solution-oriented responses when addressing reservation changes or guest concerns. Efficiently operate the reservation system, OpenTable, including completion of all required online training. Accurately collect guest information and details for inquiries regarding private or specialized experiences. Proficiently enter guest inquiries into the event lead software. Communicate with Management and Maître D's regarding any issues that may disrupt the flow of service. Place to-go orders in accordance with established standard operating procedures and protocols. Complete daily administrative tasks and assigned side work. Promptly arrive for each scheduled shift and maintain reliable attendance. Accurately record all hours worked on a weekly basis. Attend staff meetings when scheduled. Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to the position, as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
Experience and Qualifications:
Ideally 1-2 years of customer service or guest-facing experience; hospitality experience is a plus but not required Comfortable with technology and able to learn new systems quickly when trained Ability to create a positive, welcoming experience for guests through effective communication and attention to detail Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and respond to changing priorities effectively
Compensation and Benefits:
