The team receives and directs incoming calls and welcomes visitors. The team provides routine assistance as directed and assists visitors and staff with various needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintains a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Every Home for Christ. Adheres to the Biblical standards of moral conduct,Every Home for Christ Christian Community Conduct, Every Home for Christ vision statement, Every Home for Christ statement of faith, Every Home for Christ's Employee standards and policies, Every Home for Christ's Covenant of Harmony, and Enduring Foundations and continuously upholds the ministry in prayer. Participates in our Christ
- centered community through working in the HQ office and actively demonstrate Every Home cultural values.
Welcome guests to the Ministry and Prayer Center and provide information/scheduling of open prayer spaces. Provide and maintain a welcoming atmosphere to all external and internal individuals that is a representation of Every Home for Christ values; consistently following Every Home standards of service and excellence. Be able and willing to express and explain the ministry mission, purpose, appropriate activity to all external guests Be knowledgeable of new information regarding Every Home marketing initiatives and general ministry info; ensuring all information provided to guests is accurate and in alignment with ministry external communication guidelines Answer phones and respond to email inquires; sending all incoming communication to the appropriate department or area of the ministry in a timely manner Assist donors with specific customer service inquiries; when communicating with established or potential donors, the role will understand and be able to articulate the ministry's biblical theology of stewardship and generosity Responsible for following standard procedures for opening/closing the building. Maintain cleanliness of the Ministry and Prayer Center and staff areas throughout the day. Assist with event set up/tear down/oversight and service, as assigned by manager Assist with required security functions as well as audio/video functions as requested by manager Attend weekly team meetings and contribute accordingly Assist with other tasks/projects as requested
QUALIFICATIONS
Passion for the mission of Every Home Has an active and personal relationship with Jesus Christ Attends/participates in a local church
Education:
High school diploma
Experience:
1-3 years of reception/front desk/customer service or similar experience Servant's heart; serving all people with a joyful attitude and warm, genuine smile Customer focused skills: friendly, patient, understanding, service oriented, humble Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills
