Working Ranch & Guest HospitalityOBJECTIVE
The Concierge tasked with delivering top-notch service to our esteemed guests. This role involves actively interacting with guests throughout their stay, starting from their pre-arrival experience. This position is responsible for guiding guests to fully explore and enjoy what the Ranch offers and being a readily available point of contact during their stay .ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet guests, members, and visitors in the OC. Promotes Ranch to potential guests, provides general information and directions.
- Make reservations for guest activities.
- Make purchases for guests and posts transactions to accounts.
- Arrange transportation as requested by guests.
- Maintains maps and brochures pertinent to local area.
- Assists in the coordination of special events, special guest programs, holiday events, promotions, etc.
- Creating and distributing daily/holiday schedules
- Preparing and sending pre-arrival information to upcoming guests.
- Work with reservations team for clarification as needed.
- Itineraries and nightly turndown cards
- Prepare arrival bags, room, and guest package deliveries
- Recording any pertinent information regarding each guest's stay.
- Opera working knowledge, billing, arrival, and departure process
- End of Day processing
- Billing and communication for the Ranch through the OC Daily.
NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs all related duties as assignedRequirements:
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED; or 3-6 months of related experience and/or training
- Previous experience in the guest service industry preferred
- Previous hotel, resort or ranch experience preferred
Communication Skills:
- Must possess strong communication skills with the ability to interact in a positive manner with guests, members, ownership, and employees.
- Must be able to handle complaints and difficult customers in a polite and professional manner.
Language Skills:
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients, and other employees and management.
Computer Skills:
- Basic skills in use of computers and data processing equipment.
- Experience with MS Word and Excel required.
Mathematical Skills:
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Additional Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid Driver's License and be insurable by the company's auto insurance carrier .
