Nightclub Security Officer (Resort Nightlife Venue - Southeastern CT)

About Us:

We are a high-energy nightclub located inside a premier resort in Southeastern Connecticut. Our venue is known for world-class DJs, unforgettable nightlife experiences, and exceptional guest service. We are seeking professional, guest-focused Security Officers to join our team and help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all.

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate is not only attentive and reliable but also skilled in verbal communication and conflict resolution . This role is about creating a positive guest experience while ensuring safety and compliance with venue policies. We value professionalism, courtesy, and the ability to de-escalate situations through communication over physical enforcement.

Responsibilities:

Greet guests and provide a welcoming, professional first impression. Monitor entrances, exits, and activity throughout the venue to ensure guest safety. Enforce venue rules and resort policies in a respectful and approachable manner. Use strong verbal communication skills to de-escalate conflicts and resolve issues calmly. Conduct ID checks for age verification in compliance with state regulations. Collaborate with management and staff to maintain a secure, enjoyable atmosphere. Complete incident reports and communicate clearly with supervisors when necessary.

Qualifications:

Previous hospitality, customer service, or security experience preferred. Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills . Professional, calm, and confident demeanor in high-energy environments. Ability to stand for extended periods and remain alert. Must be 21+ and eligible to work in the U.S. Security or crowd management training is a plus (but not required).
