Job Description

Patient Concierge / Dental Front Office Palm Beach Periodontics | Boynton Beach, FL Full-Time | $23-$25/hour + Performance Bonus Palm Beach Periodontics is a specialty periodontal and dental implant practice looking for an exceptional Patient Concierge to join our team. This is not a traditional dental receptionist position. Our Patient Concierge Team is responsible for creating an exceptional patient experience from the very first phone call. You will often be the first person a new patient speaks with, and your ability to listen, communicate clearly, solve problems, and confidently guide patients toward the next step is an important part of the care we provide. This is also a data-driven position . We use modern communication and patient-management systems to track how effectively we respond to patients, follow up on missed opportunities, schedule new patients, maintain our schedules, and provide a consistently excellent experience. We are looking for someone who is warm, polished, organized, proactive, analytical, and highly accountable . The right person enjoys helping people but also enjoys using systems, tracking results, and finding ways to improve.
What You'll Own:
New Patient Calls & Scheduling Answer new and existing patient calls with warmth, professionalism, and confidence. Help new patients understand the next step and guide them toward scheduling an appropriate consultation. Gather and accurately document patient and referral information. Follow up promptly on missed calls, messages, and patient inquiries. Maintain an accurate and productive schedule. Confirm appointments and proactively address scheduling gaps. Communicate clearly about appointments, financial expectations, and office policies. Handle difficult conversations calmly and professionally. Follow-Up & Patient Experience Make sure every patient inquiry reaches an appropriate resolution. Follow up with prospective patients who have not yet scheduled. Help reduce cancellations and no-shows through proactive communication. Identify patients who may otherwise fall through the cracks and take ownership of the next step. Work closely with our doctors, Treatment Coordinator, clinical team, and other Patient Concierge team members. Analytics & Performance Tracking We believe that providing an exceptional patient experience requires both great communication and great systems . As part of the Patient Concierge Team, you will help monitor and improve key performance indicators such as: New patient calls and inquiries. Call-answer and missed-call rates. Missed-call follow-up and resolution. New patient call-to-consult conversion. Referral and new-patient tracking accuracy. Consult scheduling and attendance. Cancellations and no-shows. Schedule utilization and open appointment opportunities. You will also be expected to: Maintain accurate information across our patient communication, referral-tracking, and practice-management systems. Review reports and dashboards to identify missed opportunities or areas requiring follow-up. Help identify patterns behind scheduling gaps, missed calls, cancellations, and lost new-patient opportunities. Participate in regular team discussions about performance and opportunities for improvement. Take ownership of your results and help develop solutions when a metric is below target. You do not need to be a data analyst. You should, however, be comfortable working with numbers, using technology, reviewing your performance, and looking for ways to improve. You'll Be a
Great Fit If You:
Are naturally warm, friendly, and comfortable speaking with people. Have exceptional phone and interpersonal communication skills. Are highly organized and detail-oriented. Enjoy both working with people and working with systems and numbers. Take ownership instead of waiting to be told what to do. Enjoy solving problems and finding ways to help people. Can follow established systems while still sounding natural and personable. Stay calm and professional when things get busy. Are comfortable having your work measured through objective performance metrics. Respond well to coaching and feedback. Notice patterns and look for ways to make a process better. Believe that details, follow-through, and how you communicate matter. Want to work on a team with high standards and a strong culture of accountability. Dental front-office experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train an exceptional candidate with strong communication skills, professionalism, attention to detail, technological comfort, and a desire to learn. Experience in dental, medical, hospitality, customer service, concierge services, or other high-touch client-facing environments may be particularly relevant.
