1 Bilingual speaking Contractor (spn/eng)1 non-bilingual speaking Contractor Job Summary Florida Blue Direct Sales is seeking Customer Service & Sales Support Representatives to provide high-touch support to current members and prospective customers interested in purchasing insurance. This role requires strong listening skills, exceptional customer service, and the ability to identify customer needs while ensuring calls are directed to the appropriate team. Representatives will handle inbound sales calls, support outbound outreach campaigns, schedule appointments, and assist sales agents in delivering an outstanding customer experience. Primary Responsibilities Answer and triage inbound sales calls, ensuring customers are routed to the appropriate department. Capture and maintain accurate customer and lead information in the CRM system. Deliver exceptional customer service while adhering to all compliance requirements, including approved scripts, authentication procedures, PHI protection, and Do Not Call (DNC) guidelines. Conduct outbound outreach campaigns to build rapport and strengthen customer relationships. Schedule appointments and complete follow-up callback activities for sales representatives. Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls while maintaining professionalism and first-call resolution. Navigate multiple computer systems simultaneously to document customer interactions accurately. Listen carefully to customer needs and provide appropriate information or routing. Communicate effectively through telephone and email. Support sales agents with administrative and customer service-related tasks. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or
GED. 0-1
year of customer service, sales support, contact center, or related experience. Ability to manage high-volume inbound and outbound calls. Strong active listening and interpersonal communication skills. Basic computer proficiency with the ability to navigate multiple applications simultaneously. Accurate keyboarding and data entry skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Preferred Qualifications Postsecondary education, vocational training, or college coursework. Previous experience in a professional contact center or service advisor role. Experience using Salesforce, Five9 Telephony, or similar CRM/contact center platforms. Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred for designated bilingual positions.
