The Heart of Guest Satisfaction Join Our Team:
At the scenic Cheeca Lodge & Spa in Islamorada, we are looking for a dedicated and professional Resort Desk Concierge. As a central figure in our guests' satisfaction, this role involves not just welcoming guests but also enhancing their stay through exceptional service and local expertise. The concierge plays a pivotal role in ensuring guest satisfaction. Their duties encompass greeting guests warmly, fulfilling specific requests such as giving directions and making reservations both on and off-site, liaising with various hotel departments like bell services, restaurants, and spas to promptly address guest needs, collaborating with local vendors to stay updated on available services and facilitate bookings, addressing guest inquiries and concerns efficiently, and ultimately ensuring guests feel appreciated and cared for. Exceptional interpersonal skills are crucial for this role, along with a deep familiarity with Islamorada and its attractions to provide valuable recommendations to guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests by name, ensuring they feel at home on the property. Utilize open-ended questions to understand and meet guests' needs. Make informed recommendations and sell reservations for our hotel's restaurants and spa. Book various reservations including transportation, fishing trips, and local attractions, ensuring impartiality and guest preference. Respond to guest inquiries about hotel services, registration, and local amenities with accurate and positive information. Address phone calls and emails promptly and professionally. Resolve guest concerns efficiently, seeking supervisor assistance as required. Maintain constant communication with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Requirements:
Be familiar with Islamorada and the surrounding area Experience in hospitality or restaurant industry in a guest service/front desk capacity (or similar experience) At least 18 years of age with basic computer proficiency. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining composure and tact in resolving guest concerns. [Preferred] Proficiency in programs like Visual One, Excel, and Word. Multilingual abilities are a plus. Must already be eligible to work in the USA - sorry no sponsorships. No hand/neck/face tattoos No facial piercings
