Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. About the Opportunity Join a growing concierge medicine practice where hospitality and medicine come together to create an exceptional patient experience. We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant who can confidently support both the clinical and front-office needs of a small, premium medical practice. This is an important, highly visible position for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, takes ownership of responsibilities, and wants to become a trusted partner in the daily operation of the practice. The selected candidate will work closely with a personable, patient, detail-oriented, and supportive physician who genuinely cares about patients and advocates for the team. This position is ideal for someone who appreciates a thoughtful working style and can provide the organization, anticipation, follow-through, and day-to-day support needed to expand the physician's capacity to care for patients. This is not a traditional high-volume medical office. Every interaction matters. Patients should feel warmly welcomed, comfortable, heard, and personally cared for from the moment they arrive through the completion of their follow-up. What You Will Do Clinical Support Welcome and room patients while creating a calm, comfortable, and professional experience Obtain and accurately document vital signs, medical histories, medication information, and other relevant clinical information Prepare examination rooms and ensure supplies and equipment are organized, stocked, and ready Assist with injections, medication administration, and other clinical services within the Medical Assistant scope of practice Perform phlebotomy and coordinate the collection, labeling, processing, and handling of specimens Perform EKGs and assist with basic in-office procedures Support the physician during patient visits and anticipate clinical needs whenever possible Maintain accurate electronic health record documentation Track clinical follow-up items and help ensure testing, referrals, prescriptions, and patient requests are completed promptly Front Office and Patient Coordination Manage patient scheduling, confirmations, changes, and follow-up appointments Handle patient check-in and check-out with professionalism and attention to detail Answer calls, messages, and patient inquiries promptly and courteously Coordinate referrals, outside medical records, testing, prescriptions, and communication with other healthcare organizations Assist with insurance verification, billing-related questions, and administrative follow-up as needed Request, organize, scan, and maintain medical records and practice documentation Protect patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion Maintain an organized schedule and communicate proactively when priorities or patient needs change Hospitality and Patient Experience Welcome every patient warmly and help create a personalized, high-touch experience Offer refreshments and help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after appointments Anticipate individual patient preferences and needs whenever possible Maintain a polished, clean, inviting, and well-organized office environment Provide attentive service without making patients feel rushed or processed Follow through on patient requests and next steps with urgency, accuracy, and care Recognize that thoughtful gestures and personal connection are important parts of the care experience Practice and Physician Support Build capacity for the physician by protecting time, anticipating needs, organizing priorities, and closing the loop on open items Keep the daily schedule, clinical workflow, and front-office workflow moving efficiently Identify problems before they become larger issues and take initiative to resolve them Create and improve practical systems, checklists, and workflows as the practice grows Track outstanding tasks and ensure important details do not fall through the cracks Communicate proactively rather than waiting to be asked Assist with additional clinical, administrative, and operational needs that support the practice and its patients Qualifications Previous experience working as a Medical Assistant is required Medical Assistant education, training, or credential required Experience with phlebotomy, injections, vital signs, EKGs, and basic clinical procedures Experience with medical scheduling, patient communication, electronic health records, and front-office responsibilities Ability to move comfortably between clinical, administrative, hospitality, and patient-service responsibilities Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail Professional, polished, warm, and approachable communication style Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment Reliable, proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working independently Strong follow-through and the ability to complete tasks without repeated reminders Concierge medicine, primary care, internal medicine, executive health, dermatology, plastic surgery, wellness, or another high-touch outpatient setting is preferred The Ideal Candidate The right person will be clinically capable, highly organized, dependable, and genuinely motivated by helping people. This position is especially well suited for someone who: Enjoys becoming the person a physician and patients can depend on Understands that exceptional healthcare includes hospitality, attentiveness, discretion, and follow-through Takes ownership and looks for ways to make the practice more effective Can anticipate what needs to happen next Notices the small details that shape a premium patient experience Remains calm, warm, and professional when priorities change Appreciates working with a thoughtful, detail-oriented physician Wants to help build a growing practice rather than remain limited to a narrow job description Finds satisfaction in making patients feel genuinely known and cared for Compensation and Benefits $20.00-$24.00 per hour, based on experience Four weeks of paid time off Regular holidays off Monday-Friday schedule Small, physician-led practice Supportive and patient-centered working environment Opportunity to play a meaningful role in building and shaping a growing concierge practice Schedule and Flexibility The regular schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Because this is a concierge medical practice, occasional flexibility may be needed to accommodate an individual patient's needs outside the standard schedule. These situations are expected to be occasional rather than routine, and advance notice will be provided whenever possible.
