Longboat Key, FL Part-time / On-call Starting at $20.00 per hour, based on experience Job Summary L'Ambiance at Longboat Key Club is seeking a dependable, polished, and service-oriented On-Call Concierge to provide coverage for employee vacations, call-outs, weekends, holidays, and other staffing needs. This is an as-needed position with variable hours and no guaranteed weekly schedule. It is ideal for someone who values flexibility, enjoys working in a luxury residential environment, and can occasionally accept shifts with limited notice. The On-Call Concierge will help ensure residents, guests, vendors, and contractors receive professional and responsive service while supporting the property's access-control and daily operating procedures. Responsibilities Greet residents, guests, vendors, and contractors in a warm and professional manner. Answer telephone calls and respond to resident questions and requests. Assist with guest, vendor, delivery, and contractor access. Follow established procedures for keys, access devices, packages, deliveries, and service providers. Monitor property cameras, radios, telephones, and other concierge equipment. Maintain accurate shift notes, visitor records, incident reports, and handoff information. Communicate important issues promptly to management, maintenance, or emergency personnel. Assist residents with general property information and amenity-related questions. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional concierge desk. Follow all Association policies, emergency procedures, and confidentiality requirements. Provide coverage in either residential building, depending on operational needs. Schedule and Availability The property's primary concierge shifts are: 7:00 AM-3:00 PM 3:00 PM-11:00 PM Applicants should have flexibility to work some combination of: Weekdays Weekends Holidays Vacation-coverage periods Occasional shifts offered on short notice This is an on-call position, and weekly hours will vary depending on staffing needs. Qualifications Prior concierge, hospitality, luxury residential, hotel, customer-service, or front-desk experience is preferred. Professional appearance and strong interpersonal skills. Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working independently. Ability to remain calm and use sound judgment when handling resident concerns or unexpected situations. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Basic computer, email, telephone, and data-entry skills. Ability to follow detailed procedures and document incidents accurately. Discretion when handling confidential resident and property information. Ability to stand, walk the property when necessary, and lift packages or supplies of reasonable weight. Reliable transportation to Longboat Key. Availability to complete required training before accepting independent shifts. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of applicable background-screening requirements. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is friendly without being overly casual, attentive without being intrusive, and understands the level of professionalism expected in a luxury condominium community. This individual should be comfortable interacting with residents and guests while consistently following established access and operating procedures.
