We are launching our first pilot location in Hyde Park, Tampa, with plans to expand to 20+ centers across the United States. Our mission is to provide accessible, high-quality screening services while delivering an exceptional patient experience from scheduling through follow-up. Position Overview Genesis Breast Screening is seeking a skilled, compassionate, and highly organized Ultrasound Technologist / Patient Concierge to support both direct patient care and front-end patient coordination within our center. This is a dual-role position ideal for someone who is comfortable working in both the clinical and administrative sides of patient care. Part of the time, this individual will perform breast ultrasound examinations and support the clinical experience for patients. The remainder of the time, they will assist with front desk responsibilities, patient communication, follow-up, and overall patient concierge support. This role is essential to creating a smooth, high-touch patient experience while maintaining quality imaging standards and professional operational support. Key Responsibilities Clinical / Ultrasound Responsibilities Perform breast ultrasound examinations with accuracy, professionalism, and attention to detail Prepare patients for procedures and explain exams clearly and compassionately Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment according to safety and quality standards Document and maintain accurate patient records Work collaboratively with physicians and clinical staff Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming exam environment Support a calm, comfortable, and high-quality patient care experience Patient Concierge / Front Desk Responsibilities Monitor the daily center schedule and help maintain efficient patient flow Follow up promptly on cancellations and no-shows to assist with rescheduling Contact patients as needed to confirm, adjust, or coordinate appointments Help ensure patients receive their screening reports in a timely manner Confirm and support the processing of patient payments for services Assist with additional billing-related and administrative tasks as needed Monitor and respond to incoming questions from patients and referral sources Communicate with professionalism, empathy, and a strong sense of urgency Escalate clinical or operational concerns appropriately to leadership or clinical staff Support a concierge-style patient experience from initial contact through follow-up Maintain accurate scheduling, communication, and payment records Assist with general front office coordination and administrative support as needed Qualifications Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) required Minimum 1 year of sonography experience required Experience in breast ultrasound imaging preferred 2+ years of experience in healthcare scheduling, patient coordination, medical front desk, concierge support, billing support, or a related role preferred Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond quickly in a fast-paced environment Professional, polished, and compassionate demeanor Comfortable speaking with patients, providers, and referral sources by phone and email Experience in women's health, imaging, outpatient healthcare, or medical office operations preferred Experience with scheduling systems, EMR, or billing workflows is a plus What We're Looking For A warm, polished, and highly responsive professional Someone who can deliver excellent patient care while also supporting front desk and concierge responsibilities A team member who understands the importance of patient follow-through and exceptional service A professional who can communicate with urgency while maintaining a calm and supportive presence Someone who takes ownership and helps create an outstanding patient experience from start to finish Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a registered ultrasound technologist who brings both strong clinical skills and a polished, patient-concierge mindset.
