Job Summary We are seeking a Customer Service Representative / Sales Support Representative to support the Florida Blue Direct Sales team. This is a high-touch, customer-facing role responsible for assisting members and prospective members interested in purchasing health insurance. The ideal candidate will possess excellent listening and communication skills, provide exceptional customer service, accurately assess customer needs, and ensure callers are transferred to the appropriate department. In addition to handling inbound inquiries, this position supports outbound campaigns, appointment scheduling, and follow-up activities for the sales team. Key Responsibilities Handle high-volume inbound sales calls and provide an outstanding customer experience. Triage incoming calls and route customers to the appropriate sales or service team. Capture and update customer information accurately in the CRM system. Follow all compliance requirements, including authentication procedures, PHI handling, approved scripts, and Do Not Call (DNC) guidelines. Conduct outbound customer outreach campaigns to build rapport and support sales initiatives. Schedule appointments and complete follow-up callback activities. Support sales agents with administrative and customer communication tasks. Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions. Meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or
GED. 0-1
year of customer service, call center, retail, or sales support experience. Ability to handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls professionally. Strong customer service and active listening skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable working with multiple computer systems simultaneously. Accurate keyboarding and data entry skills. Ability to identify customer needs and provide appropriate solutions. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Preferred Qualifications Postsecondary education, vocational training, or college coursework. Previous experience in a contact center, customer service, or service advisor role. Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce. Experience with Five9 or similar telephony software. Spanish/English bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
