Job Description
Job Summary As a Guest Relations Representative, you will be an integral part of managing guest experiences across resort properties. You'll ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for guests by overseeing pre-arrival checks, maintaining proactive communication, and handling guest inquiries and emergencies. This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can adapt quickly to industry changes. Additionally, team members are required to handle equipment and perform specific technical tasks as part of their guest support duties.
Key Responsibilities Guest Experience :
Conduct pre-arrival inspections of homes, communicate with guests before, during, and after their stay, and anticipate guest needs by reviewing reservation requests and engaging in advance.Issue Resolution :
Address guest issues, including maintenance, housekeeping, and disturbances.On-Call Rotation :
Share on-call responsibilities to manage after-hour emergencies with the team.Equipment Setup :
Deliver and set up TVs at various properties; ensure proper functionality upon setup.Field Work :
Work independently in the field with solo assignments and maintain communication with the team via apps.Additional Duties :
As assigned, in support of guest experience and property management.Ideal Candidate Skills :
Exceptional communication, writing, computer, and email skills.Physical Requirements :
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs for equipment setup.Tech-Savvy :
Able to use mobile applications for job tracking, reporting, and communication.Local Knowledge :
Familiarity with local culture, history, and activities is beneficial.Detail-Oriented :
Must have an eye for detail and accuracy.Experience :
2+ years in customer service or hospitality preferred. Requirements Smartphone withCamera :
Required for communication and documentation.Reliable Transportation :
Must have a valid driver's license, reliable car, and comfort with driving between Maalaea and Makena.Availability :
