Health CareMountain View Hospital is looking for a Customer Service & Front Door Liaison to join our team!
JOB SUMMARY
Escorts and transports patients who need help to their destination within the hospital. Meets, greets and assists patients, guests and colleagues by providing directions and wayfinding. Will perform COVID screening at entry to hospital including: taking temperature, asking screening questions, providing masks and having visitors sign waiver forms. Will refer all questions and issues to the administrator on call when applicable. Will provide information and direction for guests needing to park their vehicle and/or drop off patients. Will assist in transport upon discharge from the hospital. Will handle all front entrance needs for our patients, visitors and guests. Assisting patients, guests and visitors with wheelchair assistance when needed and offering all patients and visitors a warm greeting to make them feel welcomed and well cared for. Go above and beyond with excellent customer service.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Open door for guests and visitors and assist them to enter or leave property. Act as a liaison for patients with every department of IFCH and MVH being affected. Monitor commercial and personal vehicle traffic such as guest vehicles, buses, and taxi cabs and give direction to them on property to ensure proper parking of vehicles so as to achieve efficient flow of traffic. Provide information and directions to guests concerning services, property amenities, and hour of operation. Ensure parking procedures are properly communicated to visitors and guests Adhere to all company procedures and policies. Ask COVID screening questions in a professional and compassionate way Perform an actual temperature screening of all entering hospital. Contact Administrator on call for questions or issues that arrive. Report all cases of injuries, unsafe work conditions, and accidents to the manager. Maintain patient confidentiality at all times. Follow company standard procedure in welcoming and acknowledging all guests and visitors. Be expectant of guest needs and meet them promptly. Provide assistance to people with disability.
