PART-TIME LEASING SPECIALIST
to join our team at our community in Mishawaka, Indiana. We're looking for a professional, organized, and personable individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about creating an exceptional living experience. This position offers variety, meaningful resident interaction, and the opportunity to make a lasting first impression.Salary:
$17+ based on experience plus commissions and additional bonuses!Schedule:
Part-Time, 20-30 hours per week. Three Saturday shifts per month required.Responsibilities:
Warmly greets visitors, prospective renters, and current residents addressing questions, concerns or complaints. Provides potential residents with collateral, information, and tours of facilities and available units. Consults with prospective residents to identify requirements and budgets, then match these needs with available units. Ensures available and model apartments are fresh and tidy. Performs all steps in the leasing process including credit checks, background screenings, landlord verifications, collection of application fees and security deposit. Maintains a successful closing ratio consistent with industry standards. Follows-up with potential leads. Reviews the ILS listings and posts internet ads for the community. Tours property daily to ensure it is neat, tidy, attractive, and in good repair. Completes market surveys and maintains up-to-date reports. Develops and implements marketing strategies to attract renters and build community with residents. Records and updates details of perspective and existing residents in software system. Maintain compliance with State and Federal Fair Housing laws and regulations. Performs other related duties as assigned.Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in real estate, sales, customer service, hospitality preferred. Outgoing, friendly attitude and ability to make others feel welcome and comfortable. Excellent interpersonal skills with strong sales and customer service skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to multi-task and problem solve. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Compensation and Benefits :

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, and climb stairs and use his/her hands. The employee must lift and/or carry up to 10 lbs.
