In this role, you will champion patient-centered care by ensuring every individual feels heard, respected, and supported throughout their healthcare journey. Responsibilities Act as the primary point of contact for patients, providing compassionate assistance and addressing their inquiries promptly and effectively Facilitate smooth patient check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all interactions Collaborate with clinical staff to coordinate patient services, appointments, and follow-up care, ensuring a seamless experience Educate patients about available healthcare options, policies, and procedures to empower informed decision-making Assist in resolving patient concerns or complaints with professionalism, empathy, and proactive solutions Maintain detailed records of patient interactions, feedback, and service requests to support continuous quality improvement initiatives Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices in patient engagement and healthcare delivery Requirements Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen actively and convey information clearly Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with diverse patient populations Ability to remain calm, positive, and solution-oriented in high-pressure situations Basic proficiency with computers and electronic health record systems; comfort learning new software tools quickly Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and follow-up tasks Prior experience in customer service or healthcare settings is preferred but not required A genuine passion for helping others and improving the patient experience Nice-to-have Skills Bilingual abilities or multilingual proficiency to serve diverse communities effectively Knowledge of healthcare policies, privacy regulations (such as HIPAA), or patient advocacy principles Experience working within multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care Why you'll love it here We're dedicated to creating an environment where our team members thrive both professionally and personally.
