Job Description
The Member Concierge is the first and last point of contact for members and guests. This is not a passive front-desk role. It requires warmth, organization, sales confidence, strong follow-through, and the ability to keep the shop moving during busy periods. What You Will Do Welcome members and guests, manage check-in and checkout, and create a polished first impression. Answer calls, texts, emails, and online inquiries; book, confirm, reschedule, and rebook appointments accurately. Explain memberships, services, gift cards, retail products, and promotions in a clear and helpful way. Process payments, maintain accurate point-of-sale records, and follow cash-handling procedures. Coordinate with barbers, cosmetologists, and nail technicians to manage timing and guest flow. Keep the reception, lounge, and retail areas clean, stocked, and presentation-ready. Follow up on leads, missed calls, membership inquiries, and guest-service issues. Support opening, closing, inventory, events, and other shop operations as assigned. What We Are Looking For Experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, fitness, salon/spa, or another fast-paced service business. Comfort discussing prices, memberships, upgrades, gift cards, and retail products. Strong phone, writing, organization, and basic computer skills. Professional appearance, punctuality, sound judgment, and a calm approach under pressure. Availability for evenings, weekends, and opening or closing shifts. Preferred Background Salon or barbershop experience, sales background, scheduling/POS software experience, or relevant education. Experience in a membership-based business, hotel, restaurant, fitness studio, or luxury retail environment. Bilingual communication skills.
