Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and organized Hosts and Hostess's to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment. Duties Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor and positive attitude. Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow and minimize wait times. Provide guests with menus and inform them of daily specials or promotions. Maintain an organized waiting area and ensure cleanliness throughout the restaurant. Assist in managing guest relations by addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Utilize POS systems for managing reservations and tracking guest preferences. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service delivery. Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette, assisting guests with inquiries or reservations. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus, but training will be provided. Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
