Job Description

Position responsibilities: 1. Adheres to and conveys philosophy of supporting dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents. 2. Appropriately answers the phone and directs all incoming calls in a timely manner 3. Schedule and oversee all Concierge team members and is responsible to cover shifts for expected and unexpected schedule changes for afternoon, night and/or weekend shifts. 4. Ensures all Concierges are following their responsibilities. 5. Fully understand every aspect of senior living at The Bluffs. 6. Assist with scheduled and unscheduled tours. 7. Assist Executive Director and Management team in reaching and maintaining stabilized occupancy. 8. Responsible to conduct new resident orientation. 9. Attend weekly management meeting and daily stand-up meetings. 10. Assists the Executive Director on a daily basis with operational duties as needed. 11. Reviews assignments with the Executive Director on a daily basis. 12. Responsible to screen, hire and train new Concierges. 13. Keeps good thorough notes in the log and reports to the next shift. 14. Works closely with management team, staff, residents, public and families. 15. Is the liaison between residents and families. 16. Create Master Log sheets for all new residents and keep up to date with changes. 17. Update the Resident List on a monthly basis, more if needed. 18. Answers the telephone using telephone etiquette. 19. Provides daily well- being checks on all residents. 20. Cleaning duties as assigned. 21. Responsible to keep the front desk neat, clean and orderly. 22. Report any needed office supplies to the BOM. 23. Accept payment for monthly rent, stamps, meals and outside activities 24. Work with the health care employees to ensure our Residents needs are being met. 25. Assists with prepping trays and meal delivery as needed. 26. Assists residents with move in and move out procedures. 27. Coordinate move out information with Maintenance and Housekeeping 28. Demonstrates knowledge of and follows infection control procedures. 29. Maintains clean, neat, comfortable, safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors 30. Greet guests and visitors entering the building by holding the door, taking packages and giving directions. 31. Observes problems, concerns, issues observed with the residents and documents them properly and notifies other parties if needed. 26. Observes changes in tenant status, needs, or preferences, and communicates them appropriately. 27. Observes all work, safety, and administrative rules. 28. Adheres to all established policies and procedures. 30. Avoids loss, breakage, and waste of supplies and equipment. 31. Demonstrates knowledge of and adheres to procedures for fire, life safety, disaster, security work, safety, and other emergency procedures. 32. Assists with individual tenant and group social recreational activities. 33. Notifies Executive Director of resident status/change as appropriate. 34. Performs other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises the Front Desk Staff/Concierge based upon the staffing model of the community. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Arcadia's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work, ensures all tasks are completed as assigned which may include coverage while staff is out of community, appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Regularly required to listen and speak with individuals and groups.
  • Lifting and moving furniture and equipment with assistance.
  • Continuous Standing, using hands, reaching, climbing, and balancing.
  • Exposure to heat, steam, smoke, cold.
  • Good vision is required.
  • Reaching heights of approximately 6 feet and depth of 2 ½ -3 feet
  • Must be able to work irregular hours under pressure and stress.
  • Must have high level of mobility/flexibility in space provided.
  • Be able to lift weight up to approximately 50 lbs.
  • Operate computer system and phone system.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
