Weekend Office Assistant Mendota Heights White Pine Senior Living is looking for a Weekend Office Assistant to join our team!
Schedule:
Part-Time (Saturday and Sunday)
Wage:
$18.00-$21.00 DOQ Are you compassionate towards others? Are you passionate about enriching the lives of others? If so, we want you to join our team and help provide the best Customer Service around!! Our Administrative Assistant becomes family and impacts the lives of our residents who live in a White Pine/Gracewood Senior Living Community. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting the residents and staff as needed. This may include public relations, marketing, general administrative duties, and oversight of the building and its programs with a customer service focus.
Duties include:
Create a welcoming environment by greeting all residents, tenants, visitors, and staff. Guide and direct guests and residents to appropriate rooms as needed. Answer telephone in a polite, professional manner. Complete a thorough building walk throughout the workday and put any maintenance work orders in the maintenance book. Deliver any packages delivered to the building to the appropriate resident room. Host morning and afternoon "stand-up meetings" with staff. Assist staff in the dining room at lunch (pouring coffee, etc….) Host an afternoon activity with residents. Provide scheduled or walk-in tours as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
High school graduate or equivalent. Related administrative experience at a level necessary to accomplish the job is preferred. Previous training in general office duties and equipment. Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident's families, and employees. Must possess computer skills. #sj
