We're family owned, and we want our investors — mostly doctors, business owners, retirees, and families, very few of them finance people — to feel that way too. This role is the real human being they call. The Role Every investor should be able to name the Black Swan person who looks after them — and everything that person promises should show up on time and correct. Who We're Looking For Someone who's glad when the phone rings. No finance background needed — we'll teach you the fund . What we can't teach is warmth, follow-through, and a love of getting the unglamorous details right. You answer fast, remember what matters to people, and treat other families' savings with real care.
What You'll Own People:
proactively reach out to every active investor by name; answer same-day, with only the hard questions escalated.
Precision:
chase paperwork to signature; keep subscription docs, agreements, and ownership records error-free; send distributions on schedule; stay ahead of expirations.
Rhythm:
Mon-Fri in Rochester, plus 2-4 capital raises a year (1-2 weeks each, higher volume) and ~2 investor event weekends a year, where the guest experience is yours. What You Need 1+ year looking after people and their details (front desk, hospitality, nursing, teaching, EA, property management, client service) A track record of catching mistakes before anyone else does, and saying what you're doing about a problem before you're asked Plain, warm writing; comfortable following up a 3rd, 4th, 5th time Discretion with confidential financial information; can juggle several deadlines without dropping one Solid spreadsheet/email skills; open to using AI tools daily Based in Rochester Nice to have: InvestNext (or similar), real estate/property management experience, or experience serving physicians or other high-net-worth families. How We'll Measure It Share of active investors personally contacted last quarter Average first response under 1 business day Zero documentation errors per quarter 100% of distributions on schedule Straight Talk We run on EOS (Traction): written accountabilities, a weekly scorecard, and quarterly priorities you help set. You won't underwrite deals, model returns, keep the books, give investment advice, or close new investors. Raise weeks are all-hands; 2-3 weekends a year go to events; and because this is people's savings, a small error is never a small thing.
