Job Description Coordinates:
Effectively and efficiently coordinates care to family members by monitoring and evaluating interdisciplinary careOrients/Educates:
Orients and educates patients/family members/visitors to the Critical Care waiting area, policies, and proceduresCustomer Service/Customer Relations:
Greets individuals in a positive and caring manner Effectively and efficiently relay the needs and concerns of patient's family members/visitors to staff Provides emotional support to family members as needed Receive requests and provides general information to patient/family member as requested Assists in the resolutions of patient/family member issues/problems Assists family with grieving processes and proceduresCommunication:
Promotes effective communication amongst care team, treating clinicians, patients, family members, etc.Liaison:
Serves as a liaison between patient care personnel and patients/families/visitors to ensure effective communication/interactionInventory:
Assesses and maintains waiting room supplies in a cost-effective manner Complies with budgetary guidelinesRegulation :
Adheres toNMHS/NMMC
Policies/Procedures/Guidelines Complies with appropriate Local/State/Federal policies/procedures/guideline/regulations/laws/statuesRequirements:
