Position Number 47SC-BuildingMgr0526 Position Type Temporary Essential Job Duties NC State Student Centers create memorable experiences for students, guests, and alumni by providing a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. We support student growth and involvement through exceptional service and facilities in alignment with the university's mission.
Key Responsibilities:
Open/Close Talley Student Union and Witherspoon Student Center each day, ensuring health and safety protocols are met. Maintain facility cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance. Manage daily building operations and coordinate with event operations for a seamless experience. Lead a team of 2-6 for common area setups, rearrangement, removal or replacement. Communicate event and facility updates to relevant staff. Inspect common areas and assist with suite issues as needed. Complete maintenance reports, submit, and follow up on work orders. Engage with guests and clients to provide information about NC State and the Student Centers. Provide coverage at the information desk and loading dock as needed. Serve as the primary initial point of contact for non-routine issues. Respond to incidents, injuries, and crises. Complete detailed shift reports. Work special events and perform other duties as assigned. Attend and actively participate in mandatory staff meetings and trainings. Adhere to all NC State Student Centers policies and expectations. Provide exceptional customer service at all times.
