We specialize in lease-ups, community stabilization, and resident-focused property management. We are seeking a motivated, energetic, and customer-focused Leasing Specialist to join our team at Plaza Grande at Garden State Park , a premier active adult community located in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Plaza Grande is one of South Jersey's most desirable 55+ communities, offering luxury residences, resort-style amenities, and an engaging lifestyle for active adults. We are seeking a leasing professional who can effectively communicate the value of the community, build meaningful relationships with prospective residents, and guide them through the leasing process with professionalism and enthusiasm. In this role, you will assist prospective residents in finding their ideal home, conduct community tours, explain available floor plans and amenities, negotiate lease terms, and manage the leasing process from initial inquiry through move-in. This position offers an hourly rate plus commission opportunities for every apartment leased. Job Responsibilities Conduct community and apartment tours for prospective residents, showcasing available homes, amenities, and lifestyle offerings. Assist prospects in identifying housing preferences and selecting the best available options. Provide detailed information regarding rental rates, lease terms, floor plans, community amenities, and resident services. Build relationships with prospective residents and their families while delivering an exceptional customer experience. Follow up consistently with leads through phone calls, emails, text messages, and CRM workflows. Negotiate lease terms and facilitate lease signings. Coordinate move-in dates and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new residents. Maintain accurate records of inquiries, tours, applications, and lease agreements. Document all lead activity and prospect feedback within the CRM platform. Stay informed regarding market conditions, rental rates, and competitor offerings throughout the Cherry Hill and South Jersey markets. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of community inventory, floor plans, availability, pricing, and amenities. Identify and report any property concerns discovered during tours. Meet or exceed leasing goals established by management. Assist the Property Manager and on-site team with administrative and operational tasks as needed. Serve as a brand ambassador for Plaza Grande and Millstone Property Group. Requirements College degree preferred but not required. New Jersey Real Estate License preferred or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire (coursework and licensing costs may be covered). Minimum of 2-3 years of residential leasing, sales, hospitality, customer service, or property management experience preferred. Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Excellent customer service abilities and a consultative sales approach. Ability to work independently while effectively managing multiple priorities. Experience using CRM software or willingness to learn and become proficient. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Availability to work weekends and occasional evenings. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. Occasionally climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions while touring the community. Moderate noise level within the work environment.
