JOB DESCRIPTION
Concierge Job Title:
Concierge Department:
Administration Reports to: Executive Director/Business Office Manager Acts as an ambassador of our facility by providing special assistance and information to Residents, families, and visitors. Proactive visits to new Residents, ensuring special needs are met. Provide clerical support; answer telephones, greet guests. include, but are not limited to:
  • Answer telephones and respond to Resident requests.
  • Manage the flow of Residents in the lobby, ensuring that our Residents are helped in a timely fashion.
  • Spontaneous desire to assist others and provide excellent service.
  • Assist staff in providing and coordinating services to Residents, families and guests.
  • Maintain role as "Move-In Coordinator" ensuring new admissions run in an organized fashion.
  • Manage Employee In-Service hours ensuring state regulations are met.
  • Duplicate and distribute information.
  • Assist Residents in scheduling of services in and out of the Community.
  • Schedule transportation for Residents to appointments.
  • Use courtesy, patience and tact in dealing with the public and Residents.
  • Remind Departments of service delays.
  • Perform follow-up calls to monitor Resident satisfaction with our services.
  • Maintain confidentiality and HIPPA regulations in accordance with facility policies.
  • Ability to pleasantly communicate with Residents.
  • Provide legible communication.
  • Maintain professional and effective communications with physicians and their office staff.
  • Develop, promote and monitor excellence in the delivery of customer service.
  • Monitor and track accuracy of Resident registration process.
  • Assist Business Office Manager with bills and filing.
  • Assist Business Office Manager with maintaining contracts and certificates of liabilities.
  • Participate in Quality/Process Improvement programs as requested.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Adhere to and carry out all policies and procedures. Report on-the-job injuries to the Supervisor before the end of work shift on the day the injury occurs. Establish and maintain constructive working relationships with coworkers, Residents, families and visitors. Maintain confidentiality of verbal and written information pertaining to Residents, facility operations and personnel. Promote facility in a positive way. Promote teamwork in providing services to Residents. Promote customer service. Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
OSHA-MSDS
sheets and procedures. Fire and safety procedures. Knowledge of and ability to operate and maintain equipment; fax machine, copy machine, scanner, postage machine, telephone, label maker, calculator, telephone, computer and printer. Ability to enter and retrieve data from the facility computer system. Working knowledge of MS software programs. Heated/Air conditioned, well-lit facility with minimal barriers. Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 lbs. Must be able to communicate and work effectively in a team setting. Must have the ability to recognize Resident needs and respond in a manner that exceeds Resident's expectations. Extended sitting for up to 3 hours. Valid Driver's License. To perform the duties of this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential operational duty in a superior manner. Excellent customer service skills. Knowledge of, or willingness and ability to learn computer programs used in this facility. Proficient keyboard and data entry skills. Cheerful personality and creative.
