Job Overview Within the Customer Relations role, you will greet clients and visitors to our office, schedule appointments, take phone calls, and help to maintain an organized office space. To succeed in this role, you will need excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as competency in Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook Email and Excel. Prior experience as a receptionist and knowledge of home improvement/construction is helpful but not required. This is an in-person position. Responsibilities Operate telecommunication system, answer phone calls, take messages, and respond to caller questions. Communicate with leads, gather and input customer information, and schedule initial appointments. Provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships by ensuring every customer feels supported. Maintain daily proficiency in our CRM, Outlook, Excel, and SharePoint to log activities and message team members. Learn and retain industry-specific product knowledge. Assist in managing company calendars. Greet visitors with a positive, hospitable attitude and direct them appropriately. Receive mail and courier deliveries and accurately label/distribute them. Maintain organization with hardcopy and digital filing systems to ensure information is easily accessible. Follow up with customers to ensure customer satisfaction. Keep a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures and regulations. Contribute to and support the team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed. Experience/Qualifications High school diploma or GED (College degree preferred) 2+ years in customer service preferred Multi-line phone systems & phone etiquette Home improvement/construction industry knowledge preferred Proficiency in digital software (Microsoft Office and CRM programs) Customer focus Organization Informing others Handles pressure Time management Active listening Bilingual/multilingual abilities highly desirable
