Responsibilities :
Accountable and responsible for the provision of patient care and comfort under the direct supervision of a registered nurse according to established standards, policies, and procedures of UPMC Washington. Accurately reports information to the registered nurse. Completes all technical skills and patient care procedures as delegated according to established UPMC Washington Core Care Partner 2 Skills & Responsibilities. Is competent in considering patient population specific age, developmental stages, and unique needs of assigned population. Adheres to all guidelines dealing with the electronic records, charts, completed documents, reports, and other documents associated with established organizational policies to ensure patient/family privacy and security. Demonstrates the ability to achieve desired work effectively, efficiently, and without wasted time or resources. Collaborates with the patient/family to modify care/services and establish effective partnerships as needed. Provides defect-free and respectful care/service to patients, families, and internal and external customers to achieve service excellence while adhering to established UPMC Washington programs.
Schedule:
Rotating days, weekends, and holidays. Rotating 12-hour shifts: 6:30AM-7PM and 6:30PM-7PM. May be subject to work other shifts/days based on hospital needs.
