Front Desk Concierge Full Time Lead Department:

We are currently seeking a Full-time Front Desk Concierge Team Member to service the Front Desk at Oxford Athletic Club for morning, afternoon and weekend shifts. Weekend coverage is a must. The main duties of this role are to greet members and their guests while monitoring club traffic, work to maintain a smooth and efficient execution of all front Desk functions, and have a thorough understanding of all club procedures, functions, programs and facilities. You are also responsible for creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere to assist in building member retention and to welcome prospective members.

Front Desk Manager Status:
Hourly, Non-Exempt Looking for Coverage of Monday morning shifts from 4:30 am to 8:30 am; 1 to 5pm day-time coverage and weekend coverage anytime between 7am and 7pm.
Essential Job Duties:
Exhibits a "Member friendly and Member first" mentality and "actions without excuses" Meet and greet members entering and exiting the club, answers incoming phone calls. Provides high-level personalized attention to members. Manages tennis court schedules, tracks court availability and charges appropriate fees Monitors the check-in process to ensure only active members and their guests are accessing the facility and implements any notes that appear on members' accounts. Assists with and promotes special events and programs to the club membership by keeping current with club events Flyers and meeting information Resolves any member issues through effective customer service skills and by referring issues to the appropriate manager Enforces current OAC club and departmental policies by keeping current with changes and utilizing effective communication skills Performs first aid in emergency responder techniques by maintaining CPR/AED and first aid certification must be aware of appropriate emergency response Operate computer POS with facility operation software Support supervisors and fellow staff in delivering high-quality programs and services to our members, while fostering an environment that consistently strives to exceed expectations.

Basic computer knowledge Energetic enthusiastic and pleasant Excellent verbal/written communication and promotional skills Grasp new and existing procedures while working in a potentially stressful environment Strong attention to detail when handling member accounts, scheduling, and administrative tasks Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. Adaptable and detail-oriented, with the ability to quickly learn new systems, procedures, payroll processes, and scheduling responsibilities.

Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times. Dependable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility Positive, welcoming attitude with a member-first approach
Required Education and Experience:
High School Grad.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Current CPR and first aid certification High school degree or GED Previous customer service experience (1 year minimum). Hospitality, fitness, or front desk experience preferred; experience with scheduling, point-of-sale, or member management systems is a plus. Willing to train the right candidate.
Physical Demands:
Be able to stand for up to 6-8 hours per shift Must be available to work a minimum of 30 hours per week

Full-time, $15.00-$18.00/hour; based on experience.
