We're looking for a Home Solutions Concierge — not just a salesperson. At
IRON OAK BUILDING CO
, we believe home improvement should feel different. Homeowners shouldn't feel pressured, confused, or like they're being "sold" something they don't need.
Our goal is simple:
help homeowners understand their home, understand their options, and make a decision they feel good about. That's where you come in. We're looking for a personable, motivated Home Solutions Concierge to join our growing team. You'll meet with homeowners, learn about their needs, educate them on potential solutions, and help them determine the right path forward. You don't need to be a stereotypical salesperson. In fact, we'd prefer that you aren't. If you're someone who genuinely enjoys talking with people, solving problems, building relationships, and helping homeowners improve their homes, you may be a great fit here. What You'll Do As a Home Solutions Concierge, you'll be the face of
IRON OAK
with homeowners.
Your responsibilities will include:
Meeting with homeowners at their properties Building genuine relationships and establishing trust Learning about the homeowner's goals, concerns, and budget Discussing home improvement needs and potential solutions Conducting or assisting with basic visual inspections Educating homeowners on available products, materials, and options Preparing and presenting estimates/proposals Following up with homeowners throughout the decision-making process Maintaining accurate customer and sales information Communicating with our production team to ensure a smooth customer experience Representing the
IRON OAK
brand professionally in the community Helping homeowners make informed decisions — without high-pressure sales tactics You'll primarily work with residential homeowners on projects that involve a wide array of home improvement services offered by
IRON OAK.
How We Sell Is Just As Important As What We Sell We aren't interested in building a sales culture where employees are taught to pressure someone into signing a contract. We believe in education over pressure. You'll be trained on our products, services, sales process, and customer experience. We use a consultative approach rather than forcing you into a rigid, word-for-word script. You should be comfortable asking questions, listening carefully, explaining things clearly, and helping a homeowner arrive at a decision. Think advisor first. Salesperson second. People first. Company second. The Kind of Person We're Looking For You might be a great fit if you are: Naturally personable and comfortable talking with new people Confident without being pushy A good listener Organized and dependable Motivated by personal and financial growth Comfortable working independently & in a team environment Comfortable talking about money and investment Willing to learn the residential construction/home improvement industry Able to communicate professionally with homeowners and teammates Someone who takes pride in doing things the right way Sales experience is helpful & preffered. But we are willing to train the right person. If you have experience in residential construction, roofing, remodeling, real estate, automotive sales, retail sales, hospitality, customer service, or another people-focused industry, we'd love to hear from you. What matters most to us is who you are, how you treat people, and whether you're willing to learn. Compensation Commission-based compensation with strong earning potential. Our Home Solutions Advisors are compensated based on closed sales, with additional opportunities for performance-based incentives. We want our advisors to have a direct connection between the value they create for homeowners and what they earn. Top performers will have significant earning potential as the company grows. Exact compensation structure will be discussed during the interview process. Schedule We believe you should be able to build a career without giving up your entire life.
We value:
Family time Personal time A healthy work environment Teamwork Accountability Consistent communication This could be a full-time position, but we don't believe being constantly exhausted makes someone a better employee. What You'll Need Reliable transportation Valid driver's license Smartphone Ability to travel to homeowner appointments within our service area Ability to occasionally access areas around residential properties when necessary Professional appearance and communication Willingness to learn Why
IRON OAK?
We're building more than another home improvement company. We're building a company where people know the names of the people they work with, homeowners know who they're doing business with, and everyone has an opportunity to grow. We want our team members to feel like they're part of something — not just another number on a payroll report.
Our philosophy is simple:
Grow the Tree. Take care of the homeowner. Take care of the team. Do quality work. Keep your word. Keep learning. Keep growing. If the company succeeds, our people should succeed with it. This Could Be a Great Opportunity If... You're currently in a sales role but don't love the pressure-driven culture. You're working in construction and want to move into a customer-facing position. You're in hospitality, retail, automotive, real estate, or another people-focused career and think you'd be great at helping homeowners. If that's you, we'd like to meet you. We don't expect a perfect resume. We'd rather meet a great person who is willing to learn. Check us out!
