Job Description

Carolina Motorsports Park in Kershaw, SC is looking for an enthusiastic, dependable individual to join our karting team. Responsibilities include monitoring on-track karting activity, assisting customers in karts, operating our point-of-sale and digital timing systems, and communicating clearly and efficiently with drivers and fellow track marshals. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service and communication skills, be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and be available to work weekends and evenings. Previous motorsport or karting experience is not required. Must be at least 18 years old to apply. Please email work experience, resumes and cover letters to jobs @ carolinamotorsportspark.com.

Responsibilities:

Provide all guests the best experience possible with a high level of professionalism and customer service. Ensure the safety of customers, guests and staff by following all safety procedures. Follow registration and payment processing procedures. Assist and direct customers to the next steps of the karting process. Coordinate with other Kart Track Marshals and team members to ensure smooth experiences.

Skills:

Must be prompt, reliable, and have a strong work ethic. Must have strong customer service skills and attention to detail. Strong verbal skills. Highly competent with using technology; including but not limited to Point-of-Sale systems. Must be observant.

Experience and Requirements:

Must be able to work weekends and evenings. Preferable experience in the following fields: restaurants, entertainment, hospitality, amusement facilities. Great customer service skills. Preferable 1+ years of customer service experience.

Physical Requirements and Environments:

Regular physical activity, including but not limited standing for extended periods of time, walking/running, kneeling, lifting, pushing and more. Must be able to safely lift/pull/push heavy objects on an ongoing basis.

Environment:

Outdoor, extreme temperature ranges.
