Description Provide guests with personalized and luxury service. Assist all guests with a wide scope of service and be a liaison between guests and other internal departments. Collect and provide information to guests about the property and the surrounding area, including local dining and attractions. Ensure accuracy, follow-through and timeliness in all services to guests.
Essential job functions include:
Maintain familiarity with local attractions and restaurants and have a thorough knowledge of Resort property, staff and services to communicate to guests. Maintain strong working relationships local establishments, vineyards, and other tourist locations. Spearhead amenities for all guests. Handle of VIP and repeat guest program initiatives. Offer to make all guest reservations, on or off property. Provides guests with travel information, such as transportation options and costs. Follow up with guest requests in a timely manner. Demonstrate anticipatory service to meet and exceed guests' needs. Coordinate transportation and special events shuttle to/from hotel with the Bell staff (including ticket sales for UVA events.) Maximize sales revenue through the sale of gift certificates and upgrades. Frequently monitor lobby/ordinary room/brochure rack aesthetics. Handle special projects and requests per Front Office Management. Assist with prompt and courteous check-in/check-out of guests and other Front Desk duties when needed. Requirements Requirements At least 2 years' experience in Hospitality or related service industries. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Even disposition and ability to handle stress effectively. Professional phone etiquette. Self-motivated and proactive. Ability to work weekends and extended hours on an at-needed basis.
