Job Description
Description We are looking for an experienced and service-driven Front Desk Coordinator to support a client site in Virginia. This is a Contract position focused on creating a welcoming, hospitality-centered workplace experience for employees, visitors, and service partners. The person in this role will serve as a key point of contact at the front desk, provide timely assistance across workplace services, and help maintain smooth day-to-day site operations.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome employees, guests, and vendors while delivering attentive front desk support and a strong first impression.
- Provide guidance on building, campus, and local area resources, and help resolve workplace service questions related to badges, parking, conference spaces, mail, luggage storage, and lost-and-found matters.
- Coordinate badge-related support and assist with access processes in alignment with site procedures.
- Monitor the lobby and reception area to ensure spaces remain organized, presentable, and ready for daily business activity.
- Respond promptly to service requests, share clear updates, and communicate effectively with staff, visitors, and leadership as needed.
- Partner closely with facilities, transportation, and other on-site teams to support a seamless workplace experience across service lines.
- Anticipate concerns, identify potential service disruptions or operational risks, and escalate issues quickly to protect business continuity.
- Support service improvement efforts by gathering feedback, contributing ideas, and helping the team meet site and client performance expectations. Requirements
- Prior experience in concierge, front desk, hospitality, workplace services, or customer-facing administrative support.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees, guests, vendors, and management.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, stay organized, and follow through on requests with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable handling day-to-day operational questions and troubleshooting routine service issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including facilities, transportation, and external service partners.
- Sound judgment in recognizing urgent concerns and escalating issues appropriately.
- Proficiency with standard office technology and a dependable approach to time management, professionalism, and client service.
