Job Description
The Pawtrol Officer is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience from the moment clients walk through our doors. This role focuses heavily on front desk operations, guest check-ins, vaccine verification, lobby cleanliness, and assisting customers with our beer tap system. Candidates must be comfortable working with both pets and people while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor. Front Desk & Customer Service Warmly greet customers and their pups as they arrive Check clients in for daycare, boarding, and events Assist customers with account setup, questions, scheduling, and service recommendations Answer phones, emails, and Paw Partner messages professionally and promptly Lobby Cleanliness & Organization Keep the front desk area tidy, organized, and stocked Maintain a clean lobby, including sweeping floors, wiping glass, and removing clutter Ensure the entrance area always feels welcoming and represents our brand well Team Support Coordinate with daycare and boarding staff during busy check-in/out times Help manage the flow of customers and dogs to keep the lobby safe and calm Support other team tasks as needed to ensure a smooth daily operation Taproom & Alcohol Service Responsibilities Obtain and maintain a bartender's license (required for this position) Verify all guests purchasing or consuming alcohol are 21+ Create and activate pour cards for customers wishing to purchase beer. Close out tabs at the end of the night. Monitor the tap area to ensure safe, responsible alcohol service Provide clear instructions to new users on how the self-pour system works and assist guests if needed Vaccination & Record Verification Review vaccination records for accuracy and compliance Communicate clearly with customers about missing or expired vaccines Update and maintain digital records in Paw Partner You're a Good Fit If… You love dogs (like… really love dogs) You are looking for evening and weekend hours You communicate well and have a friendly, upbeat personality You're comfortable balancing multiple tasks at once You thrive in a high-energy environment You enjoy creating great experiences for customers You are over 18 years old
