Part-Time Schedule:
Every Other Weekend, Possibility of more hours with cross training. Position Summary The Concierge serves as the communication link between residents and the Dining Services team by assisting residents with meal selections, documenting dietary preferences, and ensuring accurate communication of diet orders. This position also provides support with kitchen operations, sanitation, and resident service while helping create a positive dining experience. Key Responsibilities Assist residents in selecting meals that meet their dietary needs and preferences. Accurately enter and maintain meal orders using the dining software system. Communicate diet changes and special requests to the Dining Services team. Print daily meal reports to assist with food preparation. Ensure new resident meal preferences are obtained promptly. Maintain accurate documentation and resident confidentiality (HIPAA compliant). Assist with routine kitchen cleaning and sanitation. Operate the commercial dishwasher and properly store clean dishes and utensils. Monitor neighborhood food supplies and remove expired items. Follow food safety, infection control, and sanitation procedures. Participate in department meetings, audits, and required training. Maintain a professional appearance and provide exceptional customer service to residents and guests. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic computer skills and willingness to learn meal ordering software. Previous food service or healthcare experience is preferred but not required.
