Competitive pay based on experience About Us We are a busy and established restaurant in Anchorage looking for experienced kitchen staff to join our team. Job Responsibilities- Prepare and cook food according to restaurant recipes and quality standards
- Perform daily food preparation, including cutting, portioning, marinating, and ingredient preparation
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain consistent food quality, portion control, and presentation
- Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and sanitary throughout the shift
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
- Work efficiently and accurately during busy service periods
- Communicate effectively with other kitchen team members
- Assist with inventory, food storage, and receiving deliveries when needed
- Perform other kitchen duties as assigned Requirements
- Previous professional restaurant kitchen experience is
REQUIRED
- Experience working as a line cook, prep cook, or kitchen staff is preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Strong understanding of basic kitchen operations and food preparation
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Able to follow recipes, instructions, and food safety procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to work well as part of a team
