Sauté Cook — Bella Vista Italian Restaurant Chugiak, Alaska | $20-$25 per hour, depending on experience Bella Vista has been a family-owned restaurant in Chugiak since 1977. We're looking for a dependable sauté cook who takes pride in making good food and can keep a steady pace through a busy dinner service. Our sauté station handles pasta and other cooked-to-order dishes. You'll prepare your station for service, cook orders accurately, manage several tickets at once, and work closely with the rest of the kitchen to get meals out together. You'll also help keep the station stocked, clean, and ready for the next shift. You'll do well here if you: Have experience cooking on a restaurant line, preferably on sauté Can manage timing and quality when orders come in quickly Follow recipes and pay attention to portions and presentation Communicate clearly and help your teammates during a rush Show up reliably and take responsibility for your station Grill experience is a plus, but this opening is primarily for sauté. Dinner and weekend availability is needed. Pay is $20-$25 per hour , based on experience and your ability to run the station independently.
