Overview Join our dynamic culinary team as a Line Cook/Prep Cook and bring your passion for food to life! In this energetic role, you will be the backbone of our kitchen, preparing high-quality dishes with precision and enthusiasm. You'll work closely with fellow kitchen staff to ensure every meal is crafted to perfection, adhering to safety standards and recipe guidelines. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary skills in a fast-paced environment where teamwork and food excellence are celebrated. Whether you're slicing vegetables, cooking on the line, or assisting with plating, your contributions will be vital in delivering memorable dining experiences. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, fryers, slicers, and mixers Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, ensuring compliance with food safety standards Assist in food preparation for daily service, including chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients Support the culinary team in meal assembly and plating to ensure timely service Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold hygiene and safety regulations Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth kitchen operations Qualifications Previous experience in a food service environment, such as restaurant or catering experience, is preferred Knowledge of food industry standards related to safety, sanitation, and food handling practices Strong knife skills and slicing techniques for efficient ingredient preparation Adherence to recipes to maintain consistency in dishes Ability to operate various kitchen equipment safely and responsibly Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen setting Passion for culinary arts with a desire to learn and grow within the food industry Embark on a rewarding culinary journey where your skills make a difference! •Sunday With hours ranging as early as 9AM for your start time and as late at 11 AM and ending between 3 or 4 PM daily. We are closed on Monday and Tuesday. Additional hours and possible split shifts with evening hours could become available for the right candidate.

Pay:

$11.00

•$14.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0

•28.0 per week
