(13740) Cullman Regional Medical Center - Cullman, AL 35056 Apply Overview Position Type Full Time Job Shift Any Category Health Care Apply Description Job Summary Prepare food and serve customers at the grill station in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and corporate standards, guidelines, and regulations, with our established policies and procedures. Take orders from customers and prepare items requiring short preparation. Complete orders from steam tables and serve customers at multiple stations. Serve customers in an efficient and friendly manner following established steps of service, meeting outlined standards, and ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty. Utilize approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control. Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from workstations, stove, and refrigerator in compliance with established safety standards. Properly store foods in designated areas following standard wrapping, dating, and food safety and rotation procedures. Clean, sanitize, and maintain all assigned work areas, equipment, and utensils to ensure sanitation standards are met. Resolve customer concerns. Report relevant information and concerns to supervisor. Work effectively and maintain good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers. Perform job safely while maintaining a clean and safe work environment and following correct procedures at all times.
Qualifications Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience:
Six to twelve months' experience in food service industry preferred but not required. Knowledge of the methods and practices for safe food handling and preparation in a commercial kitchen.
Additional Skills/Abilities:
Must be able to read, write, and perform simple calculations. Must be able to follow a recipe, determine prescribed portions, and use institutional equipment. Must have good communication and time management skills Share job details to
