In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, assisting with menu planning, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Your culinary skills and attention to food safety standards will ensure every meal served meets our quality expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your food industry expertise while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines Assist with menu planning by preparing ingredients in advance and suggesting improvements based on kitchen operations Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, mixers, ovens, and other appliances Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen surfaces in compliance with food safety regulations Support food handling procedures to ensure proper storage, labeling, and sanitation practices are followed Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service Follow safety standards during all aspects of food production, including proper knife skills and slicing techniques Qualifications Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable Proven food service experience in a restaurant or catering environment Strong knowledge of food safety management and handling procedures Skilled in food preparation, cooking techniques, and operating kitchen equipment Familiarity with menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation processes Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork with kitchen staff Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety throughout all kitchen activities Culinary experience that demonstrates proficiency in knife skills, slicing techniques, and food industry best practices Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering exceptional culinary experiences!
