Full Job Description Line Cook Duties:

• Prepare menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards
• Set up and stock kitchen work stations with all necessary supplies
• Ensure that food is prepared and served in a timely manner
• Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
• Prepare monthly menu with cafe manager and stock kitchen with needed supplies

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a line cook, cafe assistant or similar role preferred
• current food handlers certification a must
• ServSafe certification preferred.
• Knowledge of various cooking techniques and culinary terminology
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and leadership skills Must be friendly, reliable and have excellent customer service skills and absolutely MUST be a team player.
