Full-time Evening Dietary Cook:
Responsible for preparing a nutritious and appetizing meals for the residents and staff of the facility. Ensuring nutrition values are met according to physician ordered diets for residents with special diets, maintaining sanitation standards, and assisting the dietary manager with maintaining par inventory levels. Review's daily menus ensuring proper inventory levels. Quality customer service and communication skills to build lasting relationships with department and facility staff. Summary As a Dietary Aide, you will be essential in supporting the dietary department by preparing and serving meals that meet the nutritional needs of our clients. Reporting to the Dietary Manager, you will utilize your core skills in food preparation, cooking, and food handling to ensure high-quality meal service. Your premium experience in menu planning and dietary aide responsibilities will enhance our culinary offerings. Strong communication and customer service skills are vital as you interact with clients to ensure their satisfaction and dietary requirements are met. Qualifications Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or culinary setting Strong knowledge of food handling and safety practices Previous experience in a dietary department or as a dietary aide Ability to plan menus and cater to dietary restrictions Excellent customer service and communication skills Familiarity with fine dining standards and meal preparation techniques Proficient knife skills and kitchen experience
