Job Overview We are seeking a warm, dependable, organized individual to join our early childhood team in a dual role as a Preschool Cook/ Classroom Floater. This role requires a flexible individual who can transition from being a cook to helping in a classroom. As a cook you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks for our children, while ensuring the kitchen maintains the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, in compliance with local health department regulations and childcare licensing standards. Responsibilities Prepare and cook nutritious meals and snacks according to our pre-planned menus and guidelines. Maintain a spotless, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment. Wash dishes, follow a weekly cleaning schedule. Assist in classrooms to cover ratios, teachers' lunch and bathroom breaks. Provide attentive, nurturing care, including diapering, assisting with potty training, and supporting classroom routines. Requirements Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and proper food handling practices Previous Childcare Experience is nice but not required Must be 18 years or older and be able to provide a copy of your Highschool Diploma or GED.
