Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic culinary team as a Line Cook/Prep Cook, where your passion for food and dedication to excellence will shine! In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality ingredients, assisting in menu execution, and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment. Your energy and culinary skills will contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your kitchen expertise while working in a fast-paced, supportive setting. Duties Prepare ingredients and assist in the assembly of dishes according to established recipes and standards Follow food safety protocols and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen area Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, fryers, slicers, and food processors safely and efficiently Support menu planning by preparing components needed for daily service and special events Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices are consistently followed Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service Assist in cleaning workstations, utensils, and equipment at the end of each shift to uphold hygiene standards Requirements Previous experience in food service, culinary arts, or a related food industry role is preferred Knowledge of safety standards in production and food handling procedures Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and ingredient preparation Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation processes Ability to operate various kitchen equipment safely and effectively Excellent communication skills to work seamlessly with kitchen staff and front-of-house teams Familiarity with dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus but not required A proactive attitude towards cleaning, organization, and maintaining high food safety standards
Pay:
$14.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 40.0 per weekBenefits:
