Primarily daytime shifts Tuesday-Friday Position Summary Cura Osteria is hiring an experienced part-time prep cook for our scratch-driven Northern Italian kitchen. This position is responsible for completing assigned production accurately, efficiently and independently. We are looking for a dependable professional with strong knife skills, sound cooking fundamentals and high standards for organization and cleanliness. This is not an entry-level kitchen position. Responsibilities Execute daily prep lists according to established recipes and pars Prepare vegetables, sauces, stocks, braises and other savory components Weigh, portion, label, cool and store food correctly Maintain consistent quality, seasoning and yields Practice proper product rotation and food-safety procedures Keep the prep area and equipment clean and organized Communicate shortages, quality concerns and incomplete production Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries as needed Qualifications Previous professional prep-cook or line-cook experience required Strong knife skills and understanding of fundamental cooking techniques Ability to follow recipes using weights and precise measurements Ability to work independently and manage a production list Reliable attendance and punctuality Strong organization, cleanliness and attention to detail Ability to stand throughout the shift and lift up to 50 pounds Familiarity with Italian cooking is helpful but not required What We Offer Participation in the restaurant's tip pool Consistent part-time daytime hours Focused production work in a serious, scratch-driven kitchen Opportunity to learn Northern Italian preparations and handmade production systems Potential for additional hours as the position develops About Cura Osteria Cura Osteria is a Northern Italian restaurant in Rogers, Arkansas, centered on handmade pasta, seasonal ingredients, classical technique and disciplined execution.
