We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Cashier/Line Cook to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for food service and culinary arts to contribute to a dynamic dining environment. In this role you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service at the register while preparing and serving high-quality meals in a fast-paced setting. When not helping a customer, you will be cleaning. You will clean the store and kitchen before leaving at night and we expect you to be tidying up and cleaning in-between customers. This is not a job where you have downtime waiting for something to happen. Candidates with experience in food handling, menu planning, and kitchen operations will thrive in this position. Prior experience in catering, or restaurant environments is highly valued. This position provides a chance to develop Levant culinary skills, gain restaurant experience, and work within a supportive team committed to food safety and exceptional service. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist with menu inquiries Operate cash register efficiently, accurately handling transactions and processing payments Prepare food items according to established recipes and quality standards Cook and assemble meals, ensuring proper presentation and food safety protocols are followed Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, dining room, patio and restrooms Follow food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation standards are met Restock supplies and ingredients as needed during shifts Provide excellent customer service by serving food promptly, checking-in with guests and addressing their needs Uphold health regulations and safety guidelines at all times Food prep and helping out in the kitchen Restaurant jobs are dirty and cleaning is a big part of any restaurant job, don't apply if you aren't willing to pick up a broom between customers and clean Experience Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or catering environments preferred Dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus Skills in food preparation, cooking, knife handling, and meal assembly required Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques essential Experience with menu planning, or culinary arts advantageous Strong communication skills with the ability to serve customers effectively Familiarity with kitchen equipment and food industry best practices is desirable Familiarity with Levant food helps but not a requirement (we will teach you) Part-time, 10-30 hours a week FlexibleSchedule Base pay +pooled tips Seeking 2+ years

Restaurant Experience Pay:

$21.00 - $25.00 per hour
