F&B Cook Arizona Snowbowl - FLAGSTAFF, AZ 86002 Apply Overview Position Type Seasonal Apply Description Purpose of the position: (PT, Seasonal Position) Support Arizona Snowbowl's Food & Beverage operations by preparing quality food products, maintaining food safety standards, supporting inventory management, and contributing to the overall guest experience. Cooks are expected to work collaboratively with Front of House, Mountain Operations, and Event teams while maintaining MCP hospitality standards and Arizona Snowbowl service expectations.
Qualifications Essential Functions:
Uphold all Coconino County Health Department regulations within the facility; valid Food Handlers Card must be submitted within thirty days of hire. Arrive punctually for shifts in approved uniform and fully "Fit for Duty" per the Arizona Snowbowl Employee manual. Organize stations according to company protocols and prepare culinary items efficiently; adhere to established recipes, portioning, and plating standards provided by management. Monitor and replenish all supplies and ingredients throughout the duration of the work shift. Ensure workstations, culinary tools, machinery, kitchen equipment and storage spaces remain tidy, organized, and sanitized according to resort requirements and health department protocols Assist with receiving, unloading, stocking, and transporting food, beverage, and operational supplies throughout the facility. Participate in opening, closing, and seasonal setup/breakdown activities as assigned. Execute supplementary tasks as assigned by the supervisory or leadership staff. Prepare food accurately and efficiently from POS, kiosk, mobile ordering, and websales systems. Monitor ticket flow and prioritize orders based on production times and service standards. Support high-volume online ordering operations during peak periods and special events. Assist with inventory counts, stock rotation, and product receiving procedures. Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices. Minimize food waste through proper portioning, storage, and preparation techniques. Report inventory shortages and product quality concerns to supervisors/managers. Assist with snow removal and winter weather response efforts, including shoveling, sweeping, ice mitigation, and maintaining safe walking surfaces. Support other Food & Beverage and Mountain Operations functions as needed during peak periods, special events, and inclement weather.
