Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety in food preparation. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals in accordance with our restaurant's recipes and standards, ensuring that every dish meets our guests' expectations. Line set up, prep and break down with weekly cleaning projects to ensure kitchen standards.

Ensure all food handling and preparation procedures comply with health and safety regulations. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of food items. Assist in the planning and execution of catering events as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report shortages to management. Support the culinary team in meal preparation for special dietary needs within the dietary department. Participate in training new kitchen staff on food service techniques and safety protocols. Requirements Previous experience in food handling, food service, or culinary roles is preferred. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and catering practices is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
