In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of pizzas to meet our high standards of quality and taste. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food handling and preparation, with a keen understanding of food safety practices. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment and have a love for the culinary arts. Responsibilities Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences. Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored, adhering to food safety guidelines. Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and pizza cutters efficiently and safely. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management. Assist in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols. Participate in menu planning by suggesting new pizza recipes or variations. Skills Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar setting, preferably with pizza preparation. Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures in the culinary field. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Strong attention to detail to ensure quality control in food presentation and taste. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Passion for the food industry with an eagerness to learn new techniques and recipes in catering or culinary arts.
