Overview Join our dynamic kitchen team as a versatile Kitchen Crew member, specializing in prep-cooking, food preparation, and back-of-house operations. Duties Prepare ingredients and assist in the assembly of menu items with precision and consistency, adhering to recipe specifications. Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, braising units, poaching stations, and food processors safely and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all work areas by following strict food safety sanitizing procedures. Support the culinary team in food production for high-volume service, ensuring timely delivery of quality dishes. Assist with meal preparation, including grilling, braising, poaching, and other cooking techniques essential for menu execution. Follow food handling protocols diligently to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations. Contribute to inventory management by organizing supplies and assisting in stock rotation to minimize waste. Requirements Previous experience in dietary aide roles or dietary department settings is highly desirable. Proven experience in food preparation, cooking techniques (including grilling, braising, poaching), and operating kitchen equipment. Strong knife skills and familiarity with food safety management practices are essential. Experience working in fast-paced restaurant or catering environments with high-volume production is preferred. Knowledge of menu planning, recipe adherence, and food handling procedures to ensure quality standards are met consistently. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
