The Taco Spot is looking for dependable, energetic cross-trained Cook & Cashier Team Members who are comfortable working in both the kitchen and front of house. Team members will be trained and expected to work both positions based on the needs of the restaurant. What You'll Be Responsible For Work the cash register/POS , accurately take orders, process payments, and provide great customer service. Prepare and cook Taco Spot menu items according to our recipes, portions, and quality standards. Work the grill, fryer, prep station, and food assembly line as assigned. Complete daily food prep, including portioning and preparing ingredients for service. Maintain proper food temperatures, food rotation, labeling, and food-safety procedures. Keep the kitchen, prep areas, dining room, register area, and restrooms clean and organized. Restock food, sauces, utensils, packaging, beverages, and other supplies throughout the shift. Handle DoorDash and other third-party orders accurately and efficiently. Work with urgency during high-volume periods while maintaining food quality and order accuracy. Follow opening, shift-change, and closing procedures. Communicate with managers and other team members and help wherever the restaurant needs support. Requirements Previous restaurant, fast-casual, or quick-service experience preferred Cooking or food-preparation experience preferred Cashier/POS and customer-service experience preferred Willing and able to be cross-trained in all restaurant positions Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as scheduled Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Ability to stand for extended periods and perform normal restaurant duties, including lifting and restocking Must follow all food-safety, sanitation, and Taco Spot operating standards Food Handler certification required or must be obtained within the required timeframe

Pay:

$16.00 - $17.00 per hour
